Chip's Old Fashioned Hamburgers - Plano

I absolutely loved the atmosphere! The space was spacious with plenty of seating options. The patio was fantastic as well, right by the water. As parents of two young babies, we often feel apprehensive about dining out since it seems that some people aren't fond of kids these days. However, the staff here was incredibly welcoming. I have to give special praise to the bartender— I didn't catch her name, but she was outstanding! Overall, I would rate the food a perfect 5 out of 5.

Next, we tried the burger of the week: the "black and blue," which comes with blue cheese crumbles, caramelized onions, bacon, lettuce, and tomato. The sign advertised that all burgers would be cooked medium, but mine was definitely well done at best, which made it quite dry. The bacon was also undercooked. On the bright side, the flavor of the blue cheese really elevated the burger. The French fries, unfortunately, were lacking in taste, even with some pepper seasoning sprinkled on them; they definitely needed salt. However, the shoestring onions were a hit! Overall, I’d rate our experience around a B-/C+. Despite the issues, we’re willing to give it another try—it might have just been an off day!

This is a great place to grab a bite and enjoy a drink in a relaxed atmosphere. The hamburger was delightful, and the grilled chicken sandwich is absolutely fantastic. Don't miss out on the sweet potato fries—they're a must! You have the option to dine indoors or outdoors, and the outdoor seating area is lovely as long as the weather isn't too hot. The ambiance is great, and the service is more than adequate. The food looked great; however, the burgers ? were not good enough because they tasted pre-made, and the fries were not hot enough,but the Milkshakes are to die for. I had the caramel salted shake; my granddaughter, their chocolate ?. With tip, I spent over $100.00 for myself, 4 granddaughters, my daughter, and my son-in-law. I would definitely go back, but insist that my food be ?.

Went as a large group. They have plenty of space for group seating inside or outside.. love that this spot is at the Boardwalk at Granite Park. Perfect place to hang out and grab a bite.Their portions sizes are massive no one was able to finish their burgers! We also tried fish and chips best I've had in Texas. I'm pleasantly surprised! Highly recommend.
