Chicken Express-plano

The food was quick to arrive, but perhaps a bit too understated for our taste. Unfortunately, both my husband and I ended up with food poisoning afterward. We definitely won't be returning. It's hard to trust a place run by teenagers.

You have fantastic music! I visit this place occasionally with a group of older friends, and they play the music we love. The food is also delicious!

On October 14, 2022, at 6:48 PM, I visited Drive-Thru #359 and spent $11.68 on a 2-piece fish combo. I strongly advise against ordering fish through the drive-thru! They served me fish fillets that had been sitting under the heat lamp for who knows how long. Instead, go inside to place your order and specifically ask for freshly cooked fish. Make sure to request it to be roasted! I should have known better...

I love Chicken Express. I've never had any problems with the Lake Forest or Main ST shops, but this is my first time in the Plano shop. I gave this store 3 stars because her sweet tea tastes like it was made with toilet water. Not sure if your ice or the water, but I think the water pipes or water filters are dirty.

People have their preferences, but in my opinion the tenders with their hot season salt mixed in the gravy is a winning combination that is better than any of the competitions. Of all the locations in the area, I feel like this spot has the most consistency quality and freshest rolls. They're not all equal, they might be franchised. However, if I want fried chicken tenders and have the room in my diet, I'll drive pass other Chicken Express and fried chicken spots to get it Jupiter and Spring Creek. I've been coming here for over a decade.
