The service we had had was prompt and the staff very attentive. The meal was well cooked, hot and very nice. The starter was excellent and a real plate full. Almost a main course. My beef steak was well cooked and just right for me, and my wifes pork filet was tender and the dause was lovely. The cost was very reasonable, and I will certainly visit again. How they got the restaurant up and running again so quickly after the river flooded them out is really amazing.
Small Jazz themed modern Restaurant Bar on the river with outdoor seating. The Bar was busy on the evening we arrived with only seating left in the restaurant interior. I ordered from the fixed price menu, my partner simply chose a pizza. I had a starter of a casserole of mussels and ham in a cream sauce which was actually quite nice despite the rather obvious processed ham. My Partner chose a smoked Salmon Pizza, which arrived with chunks of smoked salmon fillet on it and dollops of soft cheese. she enjoyed the pizza but found it very salty. My main dish arrived which was half of a Tarragon roasted chicken with chips. This was floating on a bed of oil, it was tasty but very salty. My Dessert never showed up despite the waitress asking me if I wanted it and by then we were tired and wanted to leave so we did. 42 Euros with a 1/2 carafe of the house wine. Can't say I enjoyed the ambience or décor of the restaurant and the food was only adequate. Not on my list of must do again.
Lovely location for this well appointed Jazz themed bar bistro. Well designed interior, plenty of room between the tables. The service was attentive. The set meal at 12.80 offered choice of two starters , two mains a (steak or lamb), and a dessert. The food was perfectly cooked and very tasty. There is a pleasant outside terrace looking over the river. for quality and value you can't go wrong here.
