Rumor has it it gets busy at night as there are dart boards and a pool table and it's the last place in town to close. Owner says a lot of new items will soon be added to the menu. All in all I will be back for sure. If you are not into the hectic nightlife it is still a great place to get a quick bite at the bar.
Katie is amazing!! It got really busy, she was the only bartender, but she was on it! Customers were friendly and fun and Katie made sure we were all doing good. Definitely going to be back!!!
My son and I go here often to play pool. Low key atmosphere. They have good pizzas, keno, and clearly pool
3.75 for domestic beers not bad seeing that Crow's nest recently raised their prices to $4 and then decided to lie to their regulars. The name definitely speaks for itself and the regulars 100% own that. Meaning they pride themselves in the fact that they are regulars that are placed that is called grumpy's therefore they are there because they want it quiet they do not want to speak unless something is interesting to them. Overheard them shaming the bar for at one point having a DJ. And they definitely talk bad about people who use the jukebox. This is a bar that they're regular thrive in silence and quiet. I've been a bar regular at enough places for enough years to have been able to slide in seamlessly and be able to get everyone talking. But that will not be everyone's experience here. The bartender unfortunately it was her last day today was very warm and welcoming. This is a bar of regulars who only go there because the bar is always dead there are never anyone there and they thrive on the fact that they go to a dying bar. Any bar that only has four people midday on a Sunday when it's 100° out. Who tell you oh no one wants to drink inside when it's this nice out knows it's a dying bar. That being said I did enjoy my time here. The fact that the kitchen light was off at 4:15 in the afternoon on a Sunday made me know that I will never order food. If you are allergic to fish or find the smell of a fish market off putting don't come.
I love the bartenders here but gotta give it a lowww rating because the cost of a Hennessy with redbull is OUTRAGEOUS! They charge $12 for a short henny. Plus $5 for an 8oz Red Bull (which you get 2 drinks out of) making the second one only $12. If you want a third, it?s another $17. And so on?. Plus an 8% ?service fee?. With the tax added the total bill for 4 drinks for 2 of us was just under $70!!! I didn?t even pay and I felt offended! ??????????? I mean, it?a not even like that nice of a place, I?d consider it a dive. You can go up the street and pay $10 per drink at Crows Nest. And just about any other place I?ve gone, I haven?t paid more than $12 each.
