Sumi Ramen - Plainsboro

This place is absolutely a new weekly visit for me. I wish I had discovered it sooner! I would have rated it 5 stars, but Happy Cow only allows 4 stars for restaurants that aren’t fully vegan. On the topic of vegan, the vegan options are plentiful and absolutely the best in the state. I genuinely can’t even describe how good the food was, just go and get some. You’ll see. Additionally, the restaurant itself was beautiful and the staff was really friendly! An absolute must. You’ll be hooked on the first visit.

I recently tried the vegan coconut green curry ramen and vegan knödel at this restaurant, with a total cost of $21. I had read reviews praising the beautiful staff, but didn't think much of it until I experienced it myself. The staff welcomed me like family, even asking about my name as they handed me my food and engaged in a friendly conversation. The dumplings were delicious, although on the smaller side. If they were a bit bigger, I believe they would be the best in the business. The curry was also flavorful and filling, with a generous portion size. The prices were very reasonable. Overall, it was a great experience and I would definitely order again. The restaurant has clear vegan options marked, making it easy to feel safe eating there. There are also options for gluten-free and add-ons, making it a great spot for any dietary restrictions.

I have found a new favorite spot that I will be visiting weekly. I regret not discovering it sooner! I can't even put into words how delicious the food was - you just have to try it for yourself. The restaurant is also stunning and the staff are extremely friendly. A definite must-visit - you'll be hooked after your first visit.

I have been craving delicious vegan ramen, but have not been able to find any nearby...until I discovered Sumi Ramen! Not only do they offer a variety of ramen options, but also vegan appetizers, curry, teriyaki, udon, sushi, and more. The food is served quickly and at a reasonable price. I will definitely be returning!

This restaurant is very charming with excellent service. Make sure not to miss out on the delicious vegan ruby roll!
