Lalito's Mexican - Plains

I don't know if I've ever had sadder Mexican food. The salsa was bland and mostly just tomato sauce, chips were stale, beans (very runny and rice were bland, the enchiladas were strange (American cheese? , and the quesadilla was alright but I didn't get anything it was supposed to come with (sour cream, guacamole, pico . Inside had a very small town conservative feel.

Pleasantly surprised with this restaurant. The food was remarkably good. We were just traveling through and stopped because we were hungry.
