Starbucks - Plainfield

It?s a Starbucks. You know what you?re getting here. Service is pretty quick and I?ve never had someone serve here that even remotely acts upset or frustrated even though I?m sure plenty of customers make them feel that way.

Usually I love this Starbucks. The staff is great, always friendly and professional. I work nearby and visit often so the unusual hours and being Closed on Mondays and sometimes Tuesdays lately is disappointing but, given the widespread staff shortages these days, is totally understandable. I stopped by this morning for my usual latte and decided to get a blueberry muffin. Normally I skip the food so it?s probably been a year maybe two since I?ve had one of their muffins. Is it just me or are the muffins significantly smaller than they used to be? I could have bought 4 muffins twice this size from the grocery store for the price I paid. Also, I didn?t notice when my coffee was handed to me but when I got to my destination, my cup felt lighter than usual. I hadn?t drank any yet so I opened it to check. The top was filled with foam, normal for a latte but usually only 1/2 1?. This one was probably 2?, definitely about the top 1/4 of the cup. I?m sorry, but if I?m going to pay $5 for a coffee, I want a full cup of coffee. As I said, I visit this location often and this is the first time I?ve had this issue so hopefully it?s an aberration. I?m sure if I had noticed right away and said something, the staff would have happily topped off my cup. I once ordered a hot drink and they accidentally made it iced. They not only remade my drink but gave me both drinks rather than dump the mistake.

This place was so friendly even though they were slammed! The barista (Lady) that verified my mobile order through the drive thru had the best personality! Thank you for your hard work and your great personality. 10:57 am on Sunday May 15th 2022.

Ordered a Triple Venti Mocha today and it wasn?t even full. No one needs that much whipped cream that it takes 1/4 of the cup to fill up.

This location has nice staff and new enviroment however i only went here 2 times and they would not make orders right and messed up a lot for me
