Sal's Famous Pizzeria - Plainfield

Eating is excellent and the atmosphere is very pleasant. the service was great. sal makes a great date choice!

I drove a few times past this fun place and decided to try it for my birthday! we have kept up, but as it was a week at night in february it was not.

Eating is truly authentic Italian. no olive garden, they have been busy with the geduld for a short time. the food misses no beat and is worth.

Sal's Famous Pizzeria Had a great time with friends and family tonight in a jewel of an Italian restaurant in #Brownsburg. Especially thanks to our server, Kendra, for being an unforgettable experience. Great menu knowledge, personality and offered better recommendations. We had the famous Sal's Special Pizzeria style pizza with sausage, pepperoni, onions, green peppers, olives and mushrooms. I don't know what they're doing with their crust, but I recommend you eat the whole slice. The crust was worth waiting. We have also selected the Appetizer Sampler: A combination of our Mozzarella sticks, Calamari Fritti, Bruschetta and Scampi Fritti, an Insalata Mista Salad: with tomatoes, onions, carrots, green paprika, mushrooms, black olives, paprika and feta cheese. Served with your choice of dressing. We chose the creamy Italian dressing! For Entrees, our group selected from the following: Pollo Alla Marsala: chicken breast with onions, mushrooms and creamy marsala wine sauce. Served on a bed of fetters. Pollo Parmigiana: Easily baked chicken breast with marinara sauce and mozzarella cheese. Served on a bed spaghetti. Spaghetti meatballs: fresh spaghetti with meatballs and homemade marinara sauce. We all felt the menu selection, quality, taste and value fulfilled our expectations. Sal's has picturesque seating, a bar area, selection of wine menu, filled beer and attentive staff. I loved it, the food was amazing. Opening up on a Sunday to serve on Mother's day was fantastic also. Great service. The kitchen got our food out at different times though, not good. My wife got sick, bad, and she had the Eggplant parmesan. No bueno!!! But, everyone else's food was amazing.
