Asia Wok Plainfield

Today was our first visit to Asian Wok, and Jay, the team member who assisted us, was absolutely AMAZING! She was incredibly informative, professional, and friendly. Her knowledge of the menu was impressive, and she guided us perfectly based on what we were in the mood for! We ordered egg fried rice, orange chicken, egg rolls, and some vegetable noodles. Jay even let us sample three of her sauces: one sweet, one spicy, and one extremely hot mustard sauce! If you can’t handle heat, I recommend steering clear of the mustard sauce! The pros of Asian Wok include fair prices, delicious food, and a clean atmosphere while waiting for our meal. Our food was fresh and served hot, and we didn’t have to wait long at all! The only downside we noticed was that the portion sizes felt a bit small—though we might have just been very hungry, haha! Overall, we spent just under $25, waited about 5 minutes for our food, and enjoyed friendly conversations with Jay and other patrons at the restaurant. We will definitely be returning!

I can't praise Asia Wok enough! The food is always delicious, and the staff is the best I've ever encountered. Their dishes are consistently excellent, and I'm thrilled to live so close to this hidden gem. The photo features their amazing firefighter Udon noodles.

The Asian food here is quite good. Lunch options are great. When they get it right, the hot and sour soup is unbeatable, although I’ve had it be just average on a few occasions. The same goes for the homemade sweet and sour sauce—it can be fantastic at times.
