This morning the coworker went and sat on the counter! all 3 girls were rude. no mask for everyone. the girl who prepared the eating, ran several orders without washing hands. more than $20 for a dozen bagels. never again!
The bagels are wonderful! they are really fresh. they have a good selection of spreads. I'm glad I wouldn't live near, because I'm safe with a weight of 300 pounds.
Excellent bagels and homemade cream cheese. but my experience was far from stellar today. the very high brunette young girl who works this morning was very rude from no obvious reason. When I finally got the bagel, he was not roasted. maybe another training of this young girl could benefit.
I have been a regular customer of this place for about 15 years, but recently something has changed. Seems like the business isn't putting the customer first. Example: I got a moldy breakfast sandwich while I was commuting to work. It happens. Figured it was a one-off. I called to let them know (so they could check the bagels, produce, etc so they wouldn't give something else out w/ mold on it). The woman who answered the phone said that it wasn't possible the sandwich had mold on it. Instead of offering to make it right in any way (a credit, another sandwich, or even an apology) she told me to prove it and bring the sandwich back. I was half-way to work and couldn't go back, so I didn't. I chalked that up to a one-time event and gave the place the benefit of the doubt. Then I found out two weeks ago that the shop has been charging me 50 for mustard on an $8.50 veggie sandwich! I only found out because I asked- the cashiers had not ever said there was a charge for mustard. BagelWorks is the only business I know of in town that charges 50 for mustard. I've probably spent $20 in mustard over the last 2 years and never knew! Lame.
