Apple Hill - Placerville

Doesn't really mater where you go in apple Hill but you should go. The fall is apple time and they celebrate apple season like no one else. Apple cider doughnuts are amazing. Apple cider in general is amazing. There are farm stands where you can buy crazy fresh fruit and veggies. Some of the farms have different food on offer too. It's not that far and family friendly.

Passing threw and we had to stop for a fritter for myself and a dumpling for the wife. Great place to take the family and get some fresh fruits. We love it up here.

Visited the Delfino farm. Delicious cider, beautiful views and amazing walkin apple pies. Definitely will come back again. The place is not too big but the views are great. Good for getting away from the busier farms. Plenty of parking as well.

An absolute visit as you get into mid-September through October. The place started to get lively as we went early into September. We went to a couple of the farms, and both had their equal number of people available. The Pine o farm had a couple of apples to pick and were good ones.I think by the 3rd week of September, there would be some amazing apples to pick.

Great food, great selection of locally grown products. So many sauces, dips, preserves, etc I choose from. I know it's famous for the apple pies, but I'm a bigger fan of the apple doughnuts!
