I had a great time enjoying some cold beers with a view of the eerie canal! However, I was disappointed by the inconsistency in the flight experience and presentation between indoor and outdoor seating. Since the indoor area was packed, we opted to sit outside, and unfortunately received our beers in plastic glasses placed in a bronze bowl, rather than the proper glasses that were used indoors, which were presented on a nice wooden flight board. Despite this, the beers were enjoyable, and I appreciated the autumn atmosphere.

My favorite spot! There’s a diverse crowd and fantastic conversations to be had. The view of the canal with the boats and canoes is lovely. The beer selection is impressive, with delicious flavors and amusing names that my partner really enjoys. It was an excellent place to stop by. Highly recommended!

Last Saturday afternoon, I visited Schoen Place with a group of friends for the first time since the COVID shutdown. I really appreciated the remodel they did; the space feels much more open and inviting now. They offer a fantastic selection of beers, and the staff is very attentive. One fun feature is the opportunity to hang a plastic cup outside. I highly recommend stopping by to try their beer selection, and don’t forget to enjoy the live music as well!

Lock 32 doesn't have my favorite beer in the area. Lock 32 has a great location and a friendly service. It is a wonderful thing to enjoy sitting with your beer and looking out on the canal. Even if the beer is not stellar, a flight with friends is always a great experience.

Enjoyed this brewery on the Erie canal. The taproom has a great spot on the canal with a nice view. The design of the taproom is nice with a boat room theme with lots of wood. The beer list is a good size and the beer was very good. Something for everyone including cider and wine. There is no food which is a disadvantage with the exception of popcorn. Definitely a great place to hang out on the weekend or for an afternoon. Parking can be found nearby across the street.
