Friendly's - Pittsfield

We typically enjoy dining at Friendly's, but today we decided to take our grandkids out for ice cream sundaes, which they were really looking forward to. We all ordered large sundaes, and to my surprise, there was barely any ice cream in them. My granddaughter's sundae was filled with a lot of hot fudge sauce and whipped cream, but just a small amount of ice cream. It was very disappointing, to say the least. Our server was very pleasant, but the sundaes were definitely not worth the price we paid—essentially just a bowl of sauce and cream! Next time, we’d be better off making our own sundaes at home. It's just not worth it at Friendly's.

The restaurant was clean and welcoming, just as it should be. The food was as delicious as I remember. My server, Michelle, was fantastic and very attentive.

The only downside this time was when one of the managers suggested that we should have called ahead since there were six of us. Honestly, how many families running errands on a day when the kids are out of school would think to call ahead for a reservation at Friendly's—or any restaurant, for that matter? Additionally, I had an unpleasant experience with the same manager in the bathroom. Instead of switching places with me, a resident in a wheelchair, she reached over to grab paper towels while the resident's wet hands were dripping. She then handed the towels to her and said, "There you go. Now you can get to the sink."

Excellent dining experience! Our waiter, Drew, was very attentive. Food was delicious!

Food was 10/10 best meal I have ever had wouldn’t go if in a rush definitely if lookin for a good family dinner night go right ahead
