Teppanyaki Kyoto - Pittsburgh

I regret waiting so long to visit this place. The atmosphere is fantastic, the staff is excellent, and the food is precisely what you expect if you're looking for an authentic Japanese izakaya experience in Pittsburgh.

I absolutely enjoyed my experience at this restaurant. The food was delicious, the staff was friendly, and the dishes were served piping hot and quickly. I highly recommend this place for anyone looking for onigiri.

Total Score: 9.60 Didn’t use the bathroom. However their sign for the br had the women’s sign on it but had a piece of paper over it that just said “restroom” to signal it is just unisex. Customer . The owners were so nice to us. Thus eight person table was a last minute thing and they were able to get it for us. Furthermore they spoke Japanese with my dad and we had a nice convo with the owners cuz they were actually Asian. . Nice decorations! Loved the vibes. Not a single thing had any flaws. The Japanese pizzas (forgor their actual Japanese name) were the best. We got a wide array of things and are family style we got curry which perfect. The yakisoba was the right amount of oily and moist and loved the squid. . Very authentic Japanese food!!! Total Score BR CS 2*AM 5*FOOD WOW

This is an outstanding restaurant! The service was exceptional, and we thoroughly enjoyed the food as well. The bacon mochi was one of the most exciting dishes I've had recently, and there’s a wide selection of desserts to choose from! As for parking, there’s plenty of on-street parking available nearby, and I’ve never encountered any issues in the area.

Delicious food, great atmosphere, nice service, what else would you want from a restaurant?
