Absolutely delicious pasta dishes, with plenty to take home for the next day! Service by Nicole was efficient and friendly. The chopped salad is meant to be shared, and we thoroughly enjoyed the dinner. Only negative was the noise level, as the room has nothing to buffer the sound--it's all glass and hard surfaces. The food and the service more than make up for the intimacy of dining for a special occasion.

Centrally located, catty-corner to the Wm. Penn Hotel, the big parking garage, and walking distance to The Cultural District and all the theatres, Talia is the place to go for very good Italian meal before the show My wife's Orecchiette with broken meatballs, chicken, banana peppers in pomodoro was outstanding, as was my Rotisserie Duck with braised red cabbage and sweet potatoes. Truly a LARGE plate! duck that was absolutely delicious! The skin, flavorful and crisp and not fatty (not an easy dish...Bravo, Chef and the meat tender and juicy. Those wonderful main courses greatly overshadowed my quibbles but still... The antipasto was rather pedestrian, with olives that looked like they came out of a Giant Eagle jar and spreadable cheese with nothing to spread it on. When bread was requested (which is usually brought to the table, gratis... or is that just me we got Foccaccio (which, admittedly was terrific) and a balsamic/olive oil dish... and charged some nominal amount. Just felt like a little nickel and dimeing.. Overall, a wonderful meal with attentive service, and we'll be back... but we'll skip the antipasto....

Good and service was excellent. The special for the day, a flank steak with risotto and broccolini had great flavor and a wonderful presentation on the plate. This dish would be a nice addition to the menu.
