It takes a little longer to prepare the chicken so you can enter this order while ordering appetizers and small plates. ...and you want appetizers and small plates. I have it in a good way that the cocktails are some of the best. Prices are extremely reasonable, especially given the ambience, service and some of the best food you find everywhere. My current favorite restaurant in the city, and one of my favorites in the states.
Hands down some of the best food I had in Pittsburgh. It's okay. I especially enjoyed the Laurel Hill Farm Trout, which is super fresh and tasty. The waiters are polite, attentive and funny. Our party enjoyed the experience and cannot wait to return
Intimate Spanish style restaurant. The food is thoroughly excellent. Great attentive service. A thoughtful wine list that focuses on Spanish wines and sherries and beautiful cocktails. Oxtail Montadito, roasted artichokes, grilled skates and oyster mushrooms were excellent.
Best oysters ive had in Pitts! My favs were the oysters, chicken liver paté, duck jam and fried artichoke. Define Back to Try Other Menu
We went here for our 5 year anniversary dinner. And it certainly didn't disappoint. We started off with the warm homemade bread with olive oil and the charcuterie board. The bread was crispy and airy. The charcuterie board had 4 different style meats on it with pickled peppers. Each meat had a different taste to it but overall delicious. Then we had the oxtail and the scallops. One word.... wow! The oxtail was sweet, melt in your mouth delicious on a toasted bread. The scallops were served cold with grape gazpacho and fried garlic. The scallops were super fresh then you got the sweetness of the gazpacho and to finish it off you had a hint of saltiness. The next course we had the pork ribs, which had a pomegranate sherry caramel glaze. It was smokey and sweet and fall off the bone. We also had the duck confit. The duck was cooked to perfection and it was served with granja beans and carrots. For dessert we had the churros. They were hot, sweet and fluffy. They were definitely homemade with a homemade hazelnut spread. The spread wasn't sweet at all. The restaurant is small and dimly lit. It had a very romantic feel to it especially with the lit candle on the table. The only drawback is that it's pretty loud in there.
