Leon's Caribbean Food - Pittsburgh

Insane flavor, great portions. Got the jerk chicken and everything plays together so well. The rice is steaming hot and fluffy, the cabbage is soft, flavorful and moist, and the chicken is to die for. Some pieces of the chicken are a little cold at first, but the hot rice reheats them pretty well, so I’m not counting against them

Really enjoyed the clean and big window ambience in the quaint space. Cashier was super sweet. Escovitch whiting, Mac Cheese, did not disappoint. Cabbage was overcooked. Will come again! Bonus: Love this black -owned business in Pittsburgh! Open a branch in East Liberty or the Hill please

We ventured up to LEON’S to try some Caribbean food and we weren’t disappointed. The menu offered quite an array of delights. I opted for the Rasta Pasta. It was a blend of vegetables, chicken and pasta in an outstanding curry sauce. I’d say it was the best curry sauce I’ve ever tasted. Everyone in our party of four loved their meal. The service was excellent and included a delivery next door to the Inner Groove Brewery. Delicious food, great beer………wow! Can’t wait to return and try another dish.

Very flavorful. The crablegs are a decent size. The jerk chicken is excellent as well.

The food here is amazing! The customer service even better. I drove 30 minutes and it was all worth it. I'm from NYC so I know good Jamaican food for sure. This place is a small jewel for certain. Tell a friend to tell a friend! I came in 1 hr b4 they closed and the food was still fantastic. Taplhanks guys!
