Klavon's Ice Cream Parlor - Pittsburgh

If you haven't been to this ice cream shop yet you should make an attempt to get here. Very old fashioned, very nostalgic. They have numerous options for ice creams and sundaes. They also have a lot of hard to find candy. Later in the day it is easy to park.

This place was crazy busy tonight and the two young girls that were working were busting their butts. They were happy and maintained their cool as the line kept growing. Kudos to them! Plus the ice cream was delicious!!

The atmosphere is top notch. They are celebrating their one hundred year anniversary and have plenty of items throughout the shop that are a walk in time. Everything is handmade and delicious. They even have a kid center to keep the kiddos entertained while you wait for your order. We love it here!

The service was excellent. We arrived with a group of 14 adults for a surprise party. The manager was working alone and handled the large group efficiently and with ease. Everyone's orders were perfect and everyone truly enjoyed their desserts. A perfect place with a great ambiance and great service.

Wonderful atmosphere! It feels just like the ice cream parlors my grandfather described going to as a young man. The variety of sundaes, floats, and sodas is incredible. It is a bit pricey, but you get your money's worth.
