Ihop - Pittsburgh

The restaurant was very busy on a Sunday around the time when church let out, but they were able to seat our family of 5 in under 20 minutes! Our server was outstanding - she didn't write anything down and got our order perfect. The bathroom was a bit dirty, but luckily we only used it at the end. Overall, we had a great experience and enjoyed our delicious food.

I have been meaning to write this review for a while now. My experience getting takeout from this restaurant was one of the worst I have ever had. I placed a curbside order, but 45 minutes past my scheduled pickup time, no one came out and there was no response when I tried calling. I decided to go inside, only to be told that the cooks were at least an hour behind and hadn't even started my order. I waited another hour, only to be told that my order still hadn't been started. Suddenly, an employee came out and announced that their system had crashed, resulting in the loss of all orders. They could only offer refunds to customers. People were visibly upset. I overheard an employee making a disrespectful comment about a customer who was waiting, saying they didn't need breakfast anyway. I would strongly advise avoiding this restaurant.

I had a wonderful breakfast at this restaurant yesterday. We arrived shortly after they opened, but were seated quickly. The server promptly brought us coffee and water, and our food arrived quickly. Everything was delicious! I loved the pancakes, but the bacon, eggs, potatoes, and toast were all great too. It's hard to beat an IHOP breakfast! We also appreciated the military discount as we are both retired veterans. The restaurant was clean, the staff was friendly, and the food tasted fantastic. Great job!

We had to wait for 20 minutes to be seated, but considering it was a Sunday morning, we didn't find it too bad. Our server was excellent, interacting with the children by telling jokes and making sure our needs (such as coffee refills) were promptly taken care of. The food was served hot and prepared exactly as we had requested.

The server was fantastic! Although it was a bustling Sunday morning and the restaurant was full, I only had to wait about 15 minutes for service. I was pleased with the options available for vegan/vegetarian diets, which included fresh fruit, hash browns, and unbuttered grits.
