Genoa Pizza - Pittsburgh

We usually order from our local pizza place but wanted to try something else. I thought we would try this place, but was not sure what to expect (pizza easy to get right...but even get EASIER WRONG! We were NOT disappointed and glad we decided to try. The pizza came relatively fast and was hot fresh. Cheese extra ordered and there was a good amount of cheese on it. Dough, sauce and cheese are all very good. Perfect cook on pizza too. Boiled, but not burned. I recommend trying this pizza if you haven't tried it yet. We will order DEFINITELY again.

Excellent pizza! When visiting downtown Pittsburgh with my family we decided to eat here on a whim, and it was not disappointed. Pizza came in less than 10 minutes, the crust was soft and tasteful, the sauce was sweet and just the right amount. Good selection of beers too. Very recommended to visit if you are in the area!

So ask a local to go! We stopped here after the Browns game. It was super busy, but you would never know because our bartender/server was a total professional. She got our drinks immediately and our (delicious) to-go pizza was ready before we even finished them! Definitely a hidden gem and will visit again when we are in town.

Pizza is amazing, this place is always busy nonstop, I understand. Service is 4 stars because they are always busy. But still good people.

Friendly neighborhood bar and pizza shop. Paige the bartender/waitress is super nice and does an excellent job. Pizza is good and the grilled chicken salad is good. Great prices.
