Claddagh Irish Pub Southside Works

I wanted to try this place, but I dissapointed. Maybe. I was wrongly informed, but I really expected more of an ethnic experience like what you get at Hoffbraugh House right above the street. Wasnt expects to hear a top 40 hip hop mix on the sound system and see afteros on the menu. However, the real experience killer was the lack of service and the inappropriate waiting times between order and actually get food and drinks., think it was 5:30 and the place was not busy at all. The table opposite us had to go to the bar and get their own drinks, as a server had not participated in it. My wife and I just made 1 drinks. I actually had to get up and track a hostess to request a server. It looks like someone doesn't disturb the store! It won't go back soon.

If you are in the mood for Irish fare, this is the place to go.

Slow night with only a few tables seated. Despite this, miserably slow and inattentive service. When served, the food really disappointed. Sheppard’s pie was a very small portion for dinner, and was horribly dry. Worst I’ve ever had. The restroom was like some third-world country. A water leak all over the floor, constantly running toilet, dark and dirty. So many nice restaurants in this area. Avoid this one. Will be out of business shortly I’m sure.

We had Thanksgiving Dinner here and it was delicious. Our server was great too. She made sure we all of the changes we made to our meals were correct and didn't have a problem in doing so. We had a group of eight and she worked really hard dealing with all of us. I would definitely recommend The Claddagh to friends. We will be back!

My husband and I made a reservation here for our 3 year anniversary. We had a blast! We each got different margaritas that were made wonderfully and the pretzels with beer cheese tasted fantastic! My guy got a Jameson burger and I decided on the mushroom thyme chicken. Amazing flavor and both cooked perfectly! Claddagh is now one of my new favorite places! Go here. You won't be disappointed!
