You have an extensive list of teas and large coffee. The outdoor terrace is comfortable and relaxing. You could use more vegan, gluten-free options.
I love Biddles! Many milk alternatives for their long list of hot drinks options. They do not have many food options in general as it is a café, but they have a few vegan food options. It's a great place to meet with a friend!
This is a coffee place, no food place, for vegans or non-vegans alike. A lot of miscommunication between the cashier and our barista. Lukewarm cider, not hot cedar. No names on the cups so a good bit of confusion on a busy Sunday. And these are just the drinks. Cashiers not offered, nor did he really have the patience to tell us if the bagels were vegan. They had prepacked veggie and hummus on baguette, hummus and quinoa salad, all vegan. But otherwise, oat flakes had the opportunity with mini chocolate chips, banana chips, and coconut flakes (heal sugar) or... Bagels had 3 options and I can almost guarantee that everyone was out of a bag. And the prepared veggie and hummus on baguette was quite subpar, also for prepared foods. They have convenience and free Wi-Fi and a neat atmosphere. But that's the point. If you are a frequent flyer at Biddle’s, you simply know that there is much better food, drink and service out in Pittsburgh.
My favorite cafe in all of Pittsburgh. I've been coming here since 2015 and it has been nothing but lovely. Always a great vibe with beautiful surroundings. Sometimes it's tight on seating, especially since they closed the upstairs a few years ago, but I take it as a testament to how well they're doing. The coffee is good 80% of the time, I admit it could be more consistent. Even so, it doesn't take away from the experience for me.
