Cafe Del Rio - Pittsburg

We were in Pittsburg yesterday for a Family Girls Shopping Day and stayed at Del Rio for lunch. Our waiter, Shane, was absolutely awesome! He was super friendly, funny and about everything - he really did our day. My mother, especially, appreciated his quick joke when she tried his hand out to get our chip basket #donttakemychips #delriorocks #shaneisthebest #thanksforagreatexperience

Ola!. I always get the some thing in Mexican restaurants then go from there. I can say that the Chile Rellenos are so good and a choice of 3 sauces make it so delicious. I liked the nice touch of a scoop of camote with a flag of Mexico stuck in the middle on all the dishes I saw carried out. My husband took a combo plate and was very satisfied. It is a fun place,clean, and with a great decor, like being in the middle of a market place south of the border. The waitress we had was friendly efficient and suggested salt in the salsa if it was too hot. Saying that they were making it hotter lately which tells me it is fresh. it was perfect for us. We left happy and with a good feeling of finding a restaurant we will come back to.

Food was great! Service was slow and inattentive. It appeared they were letting a few servers go home early and the closers were not up to the task of taking the rest of the customers for the evening. Although it was never worth a complaint it could have been better. Other than that fair prices and good food we will be back. Not sure why but Joplin Del Rio on Rangeline is better in every way than Pittsburg location.

Always good service good food!!! One of the best Mexican restaurants in Joplin!!! I go there once a week atleast!!!
