This restaurant has now closed and the premises taken over by a new restaurant Brezzia Di Mare. Prices are more sensible and quality very good, service is typically Italian although little English is spoken.

Pretentious waiter who treated us with disdain. Didn't even try to help us with Italian menu or understand what we would like. Snubbed our misinterpretation of fried calamari as if we were stupid, while others around us ate exactly that! Instead we chose melon and parma ham to start and was told they had none. Every fruit stall in italy has melons and parma ham is widely available everywhere! The main course was even more disappointing. Our friends tuna was over cooked and nothing special on the plate, a few grilled slices if pepper and totally forgot rucola that it was supposed to be served with. Our steak was served up ten minutes after they had finished their meal. I wasnt even asked how I would like it cooked and they served it rare with blood pouring on my plate. I like it medium but for the price you pay here you expect better. The waiting staff also removed cutlery and plates before we had finished. Very disappointed on a special evening out with friends. The meat restaurant across the square cant be beaten on value or food, perfect. The restaurant next door which serves similar sea food and pizza was much better value with attentive helpful staff. Avoid this place at all costs.
