Albergo Stella Val Palot - PISOGNE

We were driving between the Lakes Garda and Como, of course taking all the small scenic roads. That’s why we arrived quite late, around 14.00 at this restaurant, a bit by chance. But the young lady at the bar called the kitchen to check if it was still open and we were directed to the main dining room. The place is a bit old fashioned but lovely and charming. It might have been more busy earlier, on weekends or winter holidays because there was only 3 tables occupied. Anyway... The food was gorgeous, freshly homemade. As we still had some driving towards Lake Como, we only ordered the pasta dish and not the full menu. The spaghetti bolognaise for my husband, cheesy ravioli with butter sage sauce. A highly recommended stopover if you’re in this region.
