Kraken Coffee Company - PISMO BEACH

Great location and atmosphere, but the flavor of the coffee very not my favorite.

I realize Location, Location, Location is important for any small business. But charging $7.00 for your large Mocha come on. I live in Pismo but no way will I go back to your coffee house. I want to support local businesses, but that price was way over the top. $5.25 even $6.00, but $7.00? I don 't think my hat said screw me big time. Maybe you can screw tourist, but I don 't think locals will put up with it.

It's my favorite place for a delicious morning break at the end of Pismo Beach Pier. Beautiful views and great Baristas! My Oatmilk Latte always has milk art! Thank you Parker, Carlie, Joe, and Amber!

I stumbled across this shop on a weekend vacation and I had to come back TWICE it was so good. The first day I had a lavender chamomile latte! Absolutely to die for. The baristas were so kind and friendly, they really made my day. If you work at Kraken Coffee Co in Pismo Beach and you have purple hair or dreadlocks with glasses, treat yourself today because you truly made me smile! I left with a Nitro lemonade with the lavender syrup mixed in and it was absolutely delicious. They were able to recommend the perfect combinations to me to make sure I was getting exactly what I wanted! The second morning I got a brevé Gibraltar (which are called cortados where I'm from, so I was super excited to learn something new). Oh my goodness I was in heaven. The half and half was steamed to perfection and the espresso was so tasty. I also got an iced dirty chai with oat milk, and I was happy to hear it was from a local vendor! It was so yummy with a delicious dust of cinammon on top. All this paired with the open wall to the beach, the beautiful branding, and the cozy yet open atmosphere made me feel the most relaxed I've been in months. If I'm ever in the area again, this will definitely be my first stop! Thank you so much for two wonderful mornings ?

The staff who helped me was very friendly and helpful to helped me customize my drink; also, he even asked me about a game I’m looking forward to! The outdoor seat was limited, but awesome if you get one to view the ocean from afar. The atmosphere inside was nice, too.
