Gerlanda's Pizza - Piscataway

A club purchased a cookie platter from Gerlandas. My friend, who has a tree nut allergy like mine, asked them whether they used any tree nuts in their cookies. They assured us that they don’t use tree nuts at all. However, after we both ate the cookies, we immediately felt allergy symptoms. I ended up needing an ambulance to take me to the ER. It’s outrageous that they can claim they don’t use tree nuts and put someone’s life at risk. They need to be held accountable. Now I’m left with a lot of medical bills. While my friend’s reaction wasn’t as severe as mine, he ended up throwing up and feeling terrible after eating the cookie. In short, Gerlandas does use tree nuts, despite their claims otherwise.

Their pizza doesn 't taste good and the only reason they 're still in business is because they 're on the Busch campus student center and most students don 't have other options when they 're hungry.The main reason why I 'm giving them such terrible reviews is because I found thin, rectangular piece of plastic (about 1.5 ' ' x 0.75 ' ' lodged within my vanilla yogurt w/ honey and granola last semester. It was really gross to chew on plastic amidst the granola, plus it into cut my cheek.It really traumatized me and I have never bought yogurt from a restaurant ever since. I didn 't even get a chance to confront them because I had my Physics homework due that night and was really busy. But what they did was so wrong, they should really maintain better hygiene and not leave pieces of plastic in their food.

They close early. By 9:19PM there's barely any food left. Vegetarian options: Cheese pizza Mushroom pizza

The pizza is consistently delicious, and the service is quick.

It’s my fav pizza place at Rutgers!!! Tried out their Buffalo chicken pizza onion pepper pizza and the onion pepper one is too good! So cheesy, so mouthwatering
