The burtlein (bortellina in Italian) which is a very simple soft piadina with onions according to me is very good. I would be adequate and also meats. Perhaps the quality of wine can be improved. There is only gutturnio ortrugo and the latter is not exceptional and above all the glacette or ice bucket is not used. Reduced prices (I do not agree with the previous reviewer). I'll come back for a relaxed and good lunch.
All right, it was Pasquetta, but anyway! Very long in service the cold seconds, poor appetizer and first that leave to want. Too bad, back time you had a lot better to eat. The place is beautiful but the location is not eaten right?
Lunch with friends in this restaurant, very nice place surrounded by the Piacenza countryside surrounded by ruins of a castle, very quiet location suitable for lunches with friends! The place is furnished with rustic tables and chairs, made of solid wood and a fireplace warms the room. To begin with we took a kind of local fried dumpling (I don't remember the name) accompanied by meats, good even if I think the fried dumpling was a little too greedy. Let's go to the first: I would pee and bonfire, really delicious, and ravioli with butter and sage, not bad! I skipped the seconds as I already satiated but who took the baked cup had a satisfied air! How sweet I got a really good semifreddo!! Coffee to improve! I forgot: there is no à la carte menu, the maid passes by you and tells you the dishes of the day!
Not very easy to reach for us arriving from Milan, but having made this short trip to this place it was worth it. Both from the profile of the location (in fact after the abbuffata took the digestive walk on the paths of the hill), and for food. Very good atmosphere, from genuine trattoria. Conduction almost familiar with kind staff (they allowed me to keep the dog quietly) and attentive to every request (one person did not eat egg pasta, only type of first present in the menu and immediately a wheat paste with the same dressing was proposed). Excellent sauces of appetizer, really fresh the dough of the first (we in 4 took 4 different ones verifying the goodness of each). Even the meat did not disappoint. Surely to return, maybe on a warm and sunny day eating outdoors.
Do you want to eat well and enjoy the fantastic panorama of the hills of Val Tidone? This is one of the best places!
