What to say, are not on holiday if not step by giuseppe, never disappoints, restaurant on the sea, plentiful and delicious dishes, friendly staff and helpful, excellent value for money, I can never find a defect, it is always nice to go back
Located in the nearby beach we wanted to oufruire for a snack instead we found a refined place with a large kitchen and snack turned into a pleasant lunch
This restaurant is pretty much stuck at the beach Bagno Elia , in the place called Mortelliccio , one of the beautiful beaches that stretch between Follonica and Piombino: beaches among the best in Tuscany for clean and warm water. The restaurant has the look of a property at the service of the beach, so not fancy-looking (It isn 't clear if it is closed in the winter months). The prevailing menu dishes (understandably) are seafood, so not cheap. We both opted for the mixed fried squid and shrimp, which was delicious and plentiful enough (though certainly prepared with frozen food; when a plate is with fresh fish it is specifically stated in the menu). No wine glasses are served; So we took a small bottle of white wine (5,50 euros). The bill was 39 euro for two (coffee was complimentary). Service fast enough notwithstanding plenty of customers. Recommended, especially if you bathe in this beautiful beach.
Location 5, right on the beach, by the way a BLUE FLAG beach meaning the cleanest and purest of all, food 5, freshest local fish extremely well prepared: the classic spaghetti alle vongole and the mussel and cicale( don't know the english name) divine! Nice appetizer. Service 4.8 prompt, kind and in the right times . A reL nice surprise. Two wine bottle, full three course €40/ea. Best
