Outpost Tavern Inc - Pingree Grove

I always look forward to Fish Fry Fridays at Outpost, and their pizzas are fantastic as well. After a long day of treatment at Sherman, I was really excited to pick up my order from Outpost last Friday. I called around 5 PM to place my order, but the waitress put me on hold for 16 minutes while I could hear her talking to other customers. I tried calling back several times, but there were only busy signals. In the end, I had to order takeout from another restaurant. I recalled a time the week before when I went in to pick up my order, and a customer had to shout to get the waitress's attention because she was chatting with someone at the end of the bar. I've always had good service in the past, so this was quite disappointing.

This is my second time visiting this spot in the past three weeks. While the menu isn’t extensive, everything they serve is definitely worth a trip, especially for such a small place. During my first visit, I had the steak burrito, and on this visit, I tried the chicken burrito. Both come with two authentic salsas—red and green—that will remind you of the flavors you find in Chicago. The bartender, Katelynn, is fantastic; she’s friendly, attentive, and really makes you feel welcome. They also offer pitchers of beer, which is always a bonus. Outpost Tavern is clean and inviting, and I highly recommend stopping by, even if it’s just for a steak taco and a beer. Highly recommended!

A nice, clean dipping. it can be reached directly on the stretch 20 and very easy. I drove from this place, 100’s time and at this last weekend I was the first time I went to enjoy this facility. I'm glad they're cold and the mood was right. there were people out in the back, but we didn't make it that far, but I'll make sure I'll check it out next time.

Very nice service. we sat on the terrace and enjoyed well-designed drinks. beerritos to go, really delicious. I love the salsa verde.
