Waldhorn - Pineville

I visited this restaurant last Tuesday night with my friends for dinner. The food was delicious, the establishment was clean, and the service was excellent. I particularly enjoyed the Pretzel Rolls they offer! Additionally, they host a Beer Club meeting every Tuesday.

We did deduct one star due to our lackluster waitress. It's telling when we have to search for our server to refill our drinks, or when we need to request small plates for our appetizers. It got to the point where another waitress, Renee—a real gem—noticed we were waiting and graciously came over to assist us. We won’t mention our original waitress’s name to avoid embarrassing her, as we believe in constructive criticism; it’s an opportunity for everyone to learn and improve. We highly recommend this restaurant and plan to return. And when you do, make sure to ask for Renee!

For my main course, I ordered the Käsespätzle, and it was absolutely delicious. I was initially concerned it might be too heavy, but it turned out to be just right—not too heavy, yet satisfying. I highly recommend trying this dish, as the addition of bacon really enhanced the flavor. For dessert, we opted for the German Chocolate Cake, which was the special of the day. I usually find German Chocolate Cakes to be overly sweet, but this one was perfectly balanced with just the right amount of sweetness. The addition of strawberries, mint, and whipped cream provided a nice refreshing contrast to the cake. I also ordered a standard coffee to enjoy with dessert, and it complemented the cake beautifully.

Came up to Charlotte for a sports event and stopped here to eat. Anytime we're in Charlotte this is a must stop and we sadly hadn't been in a few years. We actually left home almost two hours early just to make sure we got there before lunch stopped. The food, beer, and service did not disappoint at all. Absolute deliciousness! Im not sure when we will come back to Charlotte, but I know we will br back here to eat again!

You don?t need to go all the way to Helen for German food! The good stuff is right here! So I just went here the other day for my birthday and I have to say the food here is FANTASTIC. I?ve grown up with Czech parents and I have to say a lot of the food is very nostalgic! The food is done perfectly it tastes delicious and it?s unlike anything you will find anywhere nearby! This place truly is a gem! The waitress was also nice enough to give me a free Black Forest cake slicewhich was also delicious! This is my new favorite place in town and next time I have a special occasion I will be begging my wife to come back here
