Hibachi Express - Pineville

I recently found this place and I'm thrilled that I did! Their fried rice is delicious and not overly salty, which I really appreciate. The customer service is excellent as well!

Eh! The food was just mediocre. I really enjoy sushi, but this didn't seem like high-quality sushi to me. Parking: There is very limited parking available.

The girl at the counter went to the kitchen and came out with two bags of food, which she handed to the couple behind us. They left with their meals, and we were still without ours. Then, she returned to the kitchen, came back with two more bags, and took the bags to the car where the two ladies were waiting. At this point, I was furious. The girl noticed my frustration and finally said that our order would be next. We had only ordered shrimp fried rice, while the other customers had full meals. From the time we placed our order, we should have been in and out within 10 minutes, but instead, we ended up waiting for 25-30 minutes. We should have left long before those other customers received their meals.

The food is absolutely delicious, and the portions are generous! The staff is friendly and always willing to help.

I placed a DoorDash pickup order and, although my interaction was short, it was enjoyable. The restaurant was very clean, and the staff was incredibly friendly. The portion sizes and prices were definitely highlights, but personally, I found the flavors to be somewhat lacking. Everything was nicely presented, but it just didn't have that wow factor. I ordered two rolls and the small spicy chicken with lo mein. I really hoped the taste would match the appealing presentation.
