The Hungry Buffalo - Pinetop-Lakeside

Amelia was an amazing server!! Our group can be a bit gross, and she was joking with us and fun. The food was fantastic, although all 3 of our steaks came out in different boiled temperatures as in demand, but they were still great. The atmosphere was also great.

We haven't been to this restaurant since it changed to The Hungry Buffalo... which tells you we haven't eaten much in recent years! The hostess was friendly, the drinks were strong (that's a good thing!, and the food was great. I am a Bourbon/Whiskey drinker and they have a great choice. We had the meals that had a combination of Mac cheese and burned ends. It was delicious! Our server, Ashley, was very personal, friendly, great setting and just fun! The owner stopped several times to make sure everything was okay. The staff here really seems to care about the customer. We both commented how much better the food is than Charlie Clarks and cheaper. And then we heard Diners at a nearby table say the same about 15 minutes later! We will definitely come back.

My fiancée and I were in town last week to get out of Phoenix Heat. We absolutely love to find the best local restaurants when we go somewhere. We met the nail on the head when we found and selected this facility. The service and the food were incredible. So much that we reserve after our first visit for the following evening. We had the same server both evening and he was knowledgeable, friendly and easy overall friendly and friendly. To make this out of food is excellent! We have both ordered different things on both occasions and have no complaint. Everything was delicious. What made our experience even better came the owner Scott and spoke to us both evenings. A so nice man who gave his heart to this restaurant and it shows both in service and in food. The only thing that could be better is if this restaurant was closer to home, because it would definitely be one of our places that we often have. If you are someone like me who reads reviews before you try a new place, but not often take the time to write, give this restaurant a chance. You will not be disappointed

We arrived early for Diner before the crowds arrived. The service was great, Jason took care of us very well and had excellent recommendations for food and drinks. Appetite was hot and delicious, and our meal was prepared for perfection. We had a wonderful experience and will return. It's nice that we went a little early, the amount of food can get a little loud and make hearing difficult. Prices are somewhat aggressive, but the food and service minimizes the sting in the wallet. Recommended!

We have eaten here twice now and really enjoyed it each time. We've had the sirloin, ribs, burnt ends, and beef stroganoff and all were good. Maybe not the best ever but all very good and would have again. Also, had the Mac and cheese as a side and MUST go back and try it as a main dish. The atmosphere is comfortable and the service is friendly. Misti the bartender was fun to chat with and on the ball at the same time (don't always get both in a bartender). And the price is good too. Add all that together 5 stars.
