Loon Fong 2 - Pinellas Park

I absolutely love this place! I finally decided to write a review because it's truly amazing. I just wish I lived closer! Other Vietnamese restaurants in Tampa can't hold a candle to this one. The Vietnamese egg rolls are definitely worth the trip—be sure to dip them in the fish sauce that comes with them. You should also try the drinks; we had the sweetened condensed milk mixed with egg yolk and soda water, and it was delicious! I usually order the pork bun, just without the peanuts, cilantro, and mint, and it’s hands down the best pork I’ve ever tasted!

I recently visited Loon Fongs Nam Viet Bistro for the first time, and I was delighted by the warm and inviting decor. The food was absolutely fantastic, with generous portion sizes that really impressed me. You can tell that everything is prepared fresh; the shrimp were large and not the typical pink canned variety. The chicken was genuinely fresh and hand-breaded, not the frozen option often found at many Chinese restaurants. I will definitely be returning!

Vietnamese Cuisine for the Connoisseur. If you appreciate authentic Vietnamese cuisine, this restaurant should be at the top of your list. The dishes are fresh and delicious, with sauces that are creative and packed with flavor. Be sure to try the Vietnamese egg rolls—they're fantastic! The spring rolls are also excellent. I'm particularly fond of their rice noodle soups; they're hearty and full of fresh ingredients, offering a wonderful blend of flavors. Overall, it's a great dining experience!

I visited today and had a fantastic lunch. The generous portions of delicious food really stood out. The vermicelli with shredded pork and egg roll (#40) was incredibly tasty. The service was prompt and courteous as well.
