The Pilot Diner - Pilot Mountain

The food is excellent, and the restaurant is very clean with friendly staff. It's a wonderful little hidden gem away from the usual spots. We're really glad we discovered it!

Since I wasn't very hungry, I just ordered a patty melt, thinking I would take half of it home, but it was so delicious that I ended up finishing the whole thing! The Texas toast was perfect, along with the meat and onions. Our waitress was extremely friendly and attentive. My husband ordered a hot dog and a cheeseburger, but he wasn't fond of the hot dog, as it seemed to be the type that uses red coloring. However, plenty of people enjoy that style, and they do grill the hot dogs here. The menu has a great selection, and I'm looking forward to returning for another meal soon!

The food and service are always very good. So glad they are open.

We love the Diner! Its a nice place to take the family to sit down and eat. We eat there on a regular basis. The beef tips over rice was very good. The ribeyes and sirloin are good as well. Typically there is plenty of seating available and the service is reasonably quick considering most of the food is cooked to order.

Best ribeye I had in a long time. Rumor has it they have a German cheese cake to die for. Can't wait
