Tropical Smoothie Cafe - Pikesville

I visited this location at 8:25 PM, and the staff member, Sophie, was busy mopping the entire front area of the store. I needed to use the restroom, but she informed me that it was already closed. As more customers continued to arrive at 8:32 PM, she told another employee that after serving the current customer, she wouldn’t be taking any more orders unless they were placed online. Meanwhile, she continued mopping around us while we waited, leaving me confused and frustrated. This experience occurred at the Owings Mills location, and I was upset that I drove all the way there just for them to try to close 15 minutes early. I would like to know where this early closing policy is stated on their website so that customers aren’t caught off guard.

The staff is always friendly and polite. I really enjoy their smoothies and breakfast quesadillas!

The smoothies here are fantastic, but the service at this location is quite disappointing. The staff really seem to lack any sense of customer care, and their attitude often comes off as rude. While I still enjoy Tropical Smoothie as a brand, I won't be returning to this particular location. I've visited at least ten times, and only one of those experiences has been positive. I've given this place enough of my business.

I recently ordered the veggie hummus wrap through their app. This is an item I always ordered, as a vegetarian it’s not easy finding places to eat that offer veggie friendly options. I ordered my wrap asked for no onions not lettuce and no tomatoes they disregarded that and added them anyways and added an ingredient that isn’t even on the wrap. Like I said I’m vegetarian, I took a bite noticing it tasted off and looked inside and they put chicken on my veggie wrap. I was annoyed and called the store, they said they couldn’t do anything until a manager was available, as I had requested a refund, guess who hadn’t received a call back? I was sick the rest of the afternoon and all day the following day. Obviously I will not be eating there ever again. All trust has been lost and to know they won’t step up and handle their mistakes is even more frustrating and disappointing.

Ordered ahead and still had to wait 15 mins. Because they didn't start the order til I got there. What was the point of ordering ahead. And then after I wait, they only give me half the order, so I had to go back and get the rest. Awful experience. Never go to this branch. Horrible in every way
