Purebread Deli - Pike Creek, Delaware

I really appreciate this place. It's a bit pricey, but I am in love with the Newfoundland sandwich. Plus, it's been a regular bonding spot with my son, since it's a place he I regularly go to on special occasions when he is off school.

Why do people like this place??? I paid $18 for a combo of half a sandwich that tasted microwaved, and the bread definitely came to them with the grill lines already on it. The other half of my combo was broccoli cheddar soup that was SO thick that it was hardly even liquid. Also EXTREMELY salty. I couldn't even finish it. My coworker said her tomato soup was the opposite, extremely watery. Never again!!!!!

Love this place. Always plan at least one breakfast here when in Wilmington area. Muffins are so delicious. Fun dog pictures showing on television.

For a $60 lunch , I expect the soup to actually be hot/warm and the Pepsi not to be watered down. I used to love going here (and went often), but the prices have gone up and the quality has gone down. I will not be returning.
