The sandwich was prepared perfectly! I describe the sandwich as a sauerkraut, and Swiss sandwich, with a trace of corn beef! There were two very thin slices of corn beef folded to add volume. I would guess two ounces or less. Will I go back? Not likely!
Being a visitor from out of state, this bar was a great place to hang out at! Leah, the bartender was super friendly and knew her **** when it came to craft beers! My husband and I felt very at home and just like a local regular here! Props to the super staff for being friendly and making us feel welcomed!!! Definitely will visit again if we're out this way!!!
This place instantly lost a star when I walked in and got death stares from every patron in the place. How dare I enter their sanctuary. Ok, I get it, I 'm in Pigeon, I shouldn 't expect much but **** this place reeks of incest and tobacco spit(not literally, it actually smelled good). Do you love NASCAR? Is Jimmie Johnson your idol? Are you currently wearing a Jeff Gordon sucks tee shirt? If so, then get your ass to The Pigeon Inn because you will be welcomed with open arms. So my actual experience here is rather comical. I sat down at a bar stool and instantly the foot rail broke off. I 'm fat but not break a chair under your heft fat but this chair seemed to think otherwise. I was informed that this was not the first time that has happened. Quaint. My drink was weak, but cheap. I didn 't eat thankfully as I can only imagine what that kitchen looks like. Pro Tip: Apparently Club Keno is a hot topic here. Play your favorite NASCAR drivers number!
I order pizza here to go quite often, once every two weeks to maybe once a week. It's always predictably good and I've never had anything close to a bad experience. I'm picky with crust and like the crust here. Gary and his staff are always warm and friendly.
Stopped in Friday night Gary had his first fish fry. Perch was good. Will be stopping in again
