We stayed in the family (wrong road: not always the navigator resets us to the first), but coming is easy passing by the circumvallation of Garlasco. This place open only from Thursday to Saturday at lunch and Sunday at dinner is also located in the outskirts of Garlasco, in a difficult way to reach not being properly in sight. It is therefore configured with a typical menu of the farms, therefore, with proposals chosen by them and not à la carte, presumably with the use of raw materials at zero km (which are available on site and generally includes: a chinquina of appetizers (including their salami, bruschette, vitel tunee, etc. , two first, a second contour, sweet, coffee accompanied by wine of the Oltrepò Pavese. It could certainly be more varied, playing with the combinations that the territory offers. In our case, in May, we had found a risotto bonarda and sausage (well mantecato, only little sausage , tagliatelle with zucchini and speck (a surprise , roast with potatoes, tartina with fruit and creams caramel, while in June a risotto with zucchini and bacon, crêpes with spinach dough, scaloppine with lemon cake, mousse with chocolate cake. I have to say that the portions are satisfying and you eat well. The service is not very fast but still typical of this type of premises, in which between one course and the other you do quietly the three of the afternoon; while the owners are nice and at the hand, stopping also at the end of service to exchange a chat. Great genuine food and, above all, cooked divinely! Impeccable service and honest price, me and my family (5 people 4 children) were really good! We'll definitely come back.
