The Upper Millstone - Pietermaritzburg

This is a wonderful spot for morning coffee and pastries. We've been there several times, and each visit has been a pleasure. The Danish pastries are filled with creamy custard and a variety of fruit flavors. The candied orange peel swirl was absolutely delightful! Be sure to try the cheese croissant as well; it's a must!

This charming bakery and coffee shop is conveniently located just off the main road into Hilton. It's the ideal place to enjoy a delicious croissant and a flat white! The interior is incredibly cozy, but the outdoor seating is just as delightful. Make sure to arrive early to snag their delectable chocolate croissants!

Cappuccino was yummy, very standard in flavour, I thought their handleless pottery cups were cute and different. The pastries were out of this world, enough to make them a worthwhile stop even worth a little bit of out of the way driving.

Definitely one of the best coffees in our province! Most incredible croissants too! I ordered 20 for a breakfast birthday and everyone loved them thank you for your assistance Upper Millstone

Amazing pastries, fantastic coffee, great service. The sourdough bread looked and smelled mouth watering. Will have to go back to grab some.
