Tandoor Clay Oven - Pietermaritzburg

I ordered a lamb roti roll, expecting it to be filled with a delicious mild lamb curry. Instead, I received a dry roti packed with a lot of onions, and the filling resembled that of a samosa. I was extremely disappointed and frustrated, especially since I had been looking forward to ordering from this place for months. It's such a shame, and the portion size is ridiculous for R90.00. I ended up having to throw it away.

I appreciated the calm atmosphere and gentle ambiance. The food was truly delightful, especially the Butter Chicken, which was outstanding! The waitstaff were friendly and prompt. Overall, I believe it's a lovely spot for a private dinner with family.

I visited on a quiet public holiday and enjoyed quick service with minimal wait time. The cozy atmosphere added to the experience. The standout feature was the delicious food; I ordered butter chicken and chicken biryani, both of which were fantastic.

Bought a bunny chow takeaway... packaging is questionable to say the least. Could've packed excess curry in a separate container. Looks very unappealing

Had simply the best naan brote I ever had, and the chicken madras curry was delicious af. really impressed. the interieur is cozy and casual, but comfortable. authentic and tasty, just wish I lived closer.
