Crossways Pub - Pietermaritzburg

The legendary landmark dining and bar area is still strong after at least 40 years I know. I came for a coffee as I was in the area and then ended with dinner after my friend suggested to look at the menu. The waitress then told us about the specials, and it was crazy and not a brain to grab the very reasonable or crazy Low Special. I had a Bacon, Brie and Cranberry pizza and my friend had a pasta. A most delightful food and I will certainly hurry back to have another special before it ends. We wondered if after all these years there are still the same owners. The place was clean, the service was good and the food was great and even better due to the affordability. You'd be crazy not to try it! Enjoy as much as we do.

I had the Rump, I had better... I would write this to the butcher or the cow, not the cook, the grill was perfect, but the meat cut was very fat and strict, fought to chew it through, but the menu points were on point and the prices were very decent. I definitely go back, but I distract the beef unless the meat cuts improve.

Food is delicious, place is very cozy, but most staff are amazing. The young gentleman with dreadlocks who helped us have excellent customer service. I just don't remember his name, but he loves his job.

Lovely place with great affordable food. After out meal we enjoyed watching drunk people try to sing lovely atmosphere and very friendly locals. I don't drink so they have alternatives for non drinkers. Thanks Crossways!
