Akhavan Restaurant Montreal

I ordered a persian food and after having I noticed that the plate was extremely old and in a non hygienic condition. Nobody was sorry about it in Akhavan. Generally, the hygiene is not an important issue there so avoid its restaurant.

Pleasantly surprised by this grocery selling persian foods, as a returning native the shop was new to me. the lamb/beef meat plates were superb, rice irresistable, and if you're visiting from the states, lay your hands on some iranian pistachios. you can't get them south of the border, and they are pretty wonderful.staff uniformly charming and helpful.

I usually make a trip to this certain Marche Akhavan every SundayI love the variety of fruits and veg especially fresh herbs (mint, parsley etc.)

Not only they sell unique grocery items but their mini restaurant is very tasty !! Kababs were tasty and juicy and filled with flavor ! Very good price ! I

We have visited this restaurant several times and always had a great experience with the food. It is a family-owned establishment that serves delicious dishes. The father, who is the chef, often comes out to greet customers and answer any questions about the preparation of the dishes. Other family members are also attentive to customer requests and can suggest dishes to try. The rice is a favorite among all of us. The option to bring your own bottle is fantastic and there are no surprise charges on the bill at the end of the meal. We highly recommend visiting this restaurant and trying the food for yourself.
