Inn-lake On The Mountain - Picton

I had been excited to visit the Lake on the Mountain Restaurant with my mom and my 5-month-old daughter, but unfortunately, I left feeling somewhat disappointed with the overall experience.

The food and view were excellent! I ordered the orecchiette and bruschetta, and I enjoyed both immensely. Sitting on the patio by the water was a delightful experience. This place is a fantastic discovery!

Perched right on the shores of Lake On The Mountain, the Inn features a lovely patio where we decided to enjoy dinner after a scenic motorcycle ride around the area.

During a holiday outing instead of lunch, the first thing that caught my attention was the fantastic smell of a burning fireplace as we stepped out of our vehicle. I ordered the inn's poutine and a Cream Ale from Lake on the Mountain Brewing Co. The poutine did not disappoint, and the beer was excellent! The waitstaff were quick and friendly, adding to the enjoyable experience.

We had a fantastic experience at this restaurant. The location was perfect, and we arrived just in time for a nice casual lunch. We didn't have to wait for a table, and the hostess was entertaining. Our waitress was prompt and provided us with helpful information. We tried the strawberry salad and the Caesar salad, both of which were delicious! The mountain beer was also excellent.
