The pizza wasn 't bad, but I was expecting a wood fired pizza and not a flatbread pizza. Very different. One has pizza crust and crispy ends from a wood oven, the other is pizza topping on flatbread that might have been from a wood oven, but didn 't have those flavor profiles. Was is edible? Sure, but it what I was expecting. The taco had great flavors but the shell was a bit soggy for crispy taco and I couldn 't really taste the meat. The chili had he best overall flavor, but was mostly beans and little meat or juice which is how I like my chili. Service was awesome and prices very reasonable, which is why I want to go back and try a few more dishes, but they really should get our hopes up with signs that say wood fired pizza and then give us flatbread pizza. Bummer. My search continues for a wood fires pizza close to work or home.
I bake um hands down is the best pizza I have ever tasted. The chef Mr Abel made me a personalized pizza with pepperoni, jalapeño, onions, fresh garlic, and extra crispy this PIZZA WAS MOUTHWATERING LOVED IT IF YOU ARE CLOSE TO PICO RIVERA STOP BY AND TRY IT OUT YOU WILL LOVE IT!!!
Had to write my review right after I tried my wrap. So good, so fresh and the bacon was to die for. Not that thin kind you get at other chain stores. Yum. I have driven by everyday and have never stopped. Just off Whittier Blvd, small, very clean and thought I would give them a try and I am so glad I did. I will definitely be coming back here to try other items. Don't be shy and give them a try.
I really didn't think the food was going to be as good as it is! Definitely going back! The wrap was delicious.
At first when I walked in I was a little confused. I wasn't sure what to expect, but I definitely wasn't expecting a food truck thing inside a building. There are pictures of each item on the wall, which made ordering with a child super easy because she saw exactly what she wanted in about 2 seconds. They currently have a 2 for $10 special so we tried their turkey/mortadella/provolone wrap and a pepperoni/sausage/mushroom pizza. We waited just a few minutes for the food to be prepared. Both of our items were super fresh, especially the lavash used in the wrap. It wasn't dried out like at some other places. The pizza was really good! It was generously topped and had a thin cracker like crust that my daughter loved. I preferred the wrap over the pizza, but that's mostly because I like a thick doughy crust. The wrap was perfect! The meat cheese were laid out in such a way that there was meat and cheese in each bite. The toppings were also chopped fairly small which at first struck me as kinda odd, but I quickly realized it made it that every bite had the right amount of pickle, lettuce and tomato. They also have a small case of freshly baked cookies and canned soda. I was pleasantly surprised by this place and know I will be back again soon.
