One could say that they survived on their repeated customers many years ago. I didn't expect anything extravagant here. It is not the most cultivated diner. There were dust on the window sills and bread crumbs on some seats. There were some people here, especially older people, eating breakfast, drinking coffee and chatting at 1 o'clock. Some people came in and left with take-out. You have a quite interesting selection as you can see from the photos posted by someone. I was torn between breakfast and dinner. When we received our meals, they obviously did not focus on the presentation. I dug in, and it tasted very secretly. It wasn't spectacular, but it was refreshing in its own way. I'm not sure I'll be back there soon. I know I'd be disappointed if it were gone.
Big little diner! We'll be back. The food was great. The chicken kicked Steak and Gravy.
Only takes cash or check which could be inconvenient but come prepared. Food was fantastic. Just like mom's. The menu is quite extensive for a small diner type of place. The weekly breakfast combo for 5.99 was delicious. Great service as well considering there was only one server for the ten or so tables inside.
This is a wonderful treasure to find. I made antiques shopping and someone working there suggested the diner. It's perfection. The most friendly people and the most delicious to the grief. The price was perfect. I wish these little diners with this kind of charming hospitality were everywhere. Take you back to easier times. It's just cash, but it doesn't matter to me. Perfect place to eat.
Your wheelhouse is breakfast, no doubt. And let's be real, it's a fat spoon dinner, so it's what it is. I like the place, bacon, eggs, potatoes, omelets and French toast are all you expect. Lunch and dinner are okay. I'm fine with conspicuous green beans and corn, I'm not going to eat them in my house, but I tell you it reminds me of the dinner in the late 80s and early 90s, as Grandma used to come from Green Giant: we go here about once a month, mostly for breakfast. Tonight, I'll try everything you can eat fish!
