The Mulligatawny soup is watery and served in a regular food container! The butter chicken tastes like Campbell’s Tomato Soup with sugar. The Lamb Vindaloo...is full of chilli peppers? Back in the day, this restaurant was exceptional. Oh, how the mighty have fallen! Try Mumbai Grill in Ajax, and save your money. Very disappointed in Pickering...
It was just a great experience. Chicken and spices just filled my nostrils... Thanks to the staff. My left overs won't make it home!
Always a very good meal, large portions, good price. We had the Butter Chicken, Chili Chicken, Pulao Rice and Zeera Biryani, Zeera Special Naan and Garlic Naan. The Butter Chicken was a little on the sweet side and the Biryani would have been better with...more than 1 shrimp, but all were otherwise delicious and try the Zeera Naan like a chicken pizza and dips great in the Butter sauce! Recommended if you are in the area. Ordered by phone and it was ready in 20 minutes.
Dinner for four adults. we didn't think we ordered too much food, but we hardly did what we ordered. some of the servings can look small (this is not an American restaurant), but we easily share each plate or bowl among us...all, with each of us a decent taste of everything. we had no appetizers; a good thing as it turned out. all dishes were served hot, all tastefully and appropriately seasoned. cheetah in bottles replaces the unavailable tap version. the seat outside is basically. it can be a bit loud when the neighbors are, but outside the fresher air goes well with all the means of life.
Eating came cold, maybe not all restaurants mistakes, but we are less than 5 minutes away. portioning were small, the chicken was overboiled and really badly burned on the outside. the butter chicken was good when we reheat it. but everything else was...mediocre we were before, will not go back
