Milos Greek Restaurant - Pickering

I have been going to this restaurant for several years. We were running late and decided to stop for a quick bite. We were greeted and told that there was 15 mins left on the lunch menu and stressed they didn't want to rush us but to give us the opportunity to get the lunch specials. We were very grateful. Service was attentive and the atmosphere gives you that Mediterranean feeling. The food arrived and was plentiful for a lunch menu we were quite satisfied In the Durham region (Pickering) this is definitely a go to for Greek food. Traditional, Tasty and great service. They also have take out which I have done more than a couple of times in the past couple of years. The parking is ample. .

We went at noon for a luncheon...about 25 of us. The service was excellent and the food was very tasty and large portions. Vegetarian meals available....I had the Vegetarian Moussaka. Felt that they could have used vegan meat in the recipe...but it was still very delicious. A bit of confusion on my bill which was rectified.

I come here all the time as the food is great but the last visit left me never wanting to return. I showed up at 9:15 for dinner. The website from google says 10pm close so I figured we were okay for dinner. When we arrived the hostess looked at us with an obvious face of nervousness almost. She took us to the table and before we sat down said "we close at 9:30 so you need to order right away." I said I read online that they close at 10 and she said sometimes it's 9:30. We told her we'd just find somewhere else to go. She said they wouldn't kick us out but by her attitude it was too late for us to want to stay. It's too bad because the food is so good but the service was terrible.

What can I say....Food is good, place is clean, service is great, friendly staff (like family). Nice place for dinner :)

Service is great here just went for my second time. My son and I. My son has been to Greece .. And knows what the food taste like .. He said it was excellent .and large portions. Lunch specials are large
