Food Time Restaurant - Pickering

We catered food for a party recently and I have to say the food was simply delicious! We had so many compliments and referral requests.We have only tried their Food once prior and it was a few years back even then it was so good that we thought of Food Time right away for our catering needs.It was quick to order no delays even though we live quite far. Thanks Again! Your restaurant has officially become out Favourite!

The food taste has gone down drastically recently. We always get full tandoori chicken and it used to be so flavourful and spiced right and topped with lemon juice. We bought chicken yesterday and there was barely any salt or spice in it, no lemon juice, it tasted like chicken was baked with some colour on it. I see there’s a lot of Caucasian customers too and it’s fine to cater to them but also cater to Asian communities. Have two options spicy and mild. We had tandoori chicken from Usmania 2 weeks ago and it was so well spiced and baked, their naans were soft but naans from food time yesterday were some heavy duty naans, they were thick and hard to chew.

I order from food time on Uber eats in Pickering often. I have never gotten an order that wasn’t amazing. The nihari is one of the best curries I’ve ever had in my whole life. Recently changed from chicken biryani to veal biryani and will be ordering veal from now on.

AMAZING CHICKEN KARAHI!! the best I’ve had in Pickering/Durham region. I usually go to Karahi point or Karahi boys but this one is 1000x better and way more affordable prices here with top notch quality, authentic flavours. Definitely my new go to stop for good Pakistani food.

This place has gone downhill. They used to be good back in the day. The veal biryani was dry and lacked flavour, not to mention the veal itself wasn't fresh. The Nihari tasted like spiced water and the chicken korma tasted like it came from a jar. I'm never going back.
