Big M Drive In - Pickering

The constant stream of customers entering and exiting this restaurant should have been a clear indication of the experience I was about to have. The Banquet Burger was delicious, but what truly impressed me was the poutine. I usually prefer a darker gravy, but the lighter sauce here exceeded my expectations. The poutine was simply outstanding! The Greek Fries offered a delightful combination of flavors, while the onion rings were crispy with a sweet interior. The salad was generously topped with chicken and dressed with their homemade dressing, which was absolutely tasty. There’s a reason this establishment has been around since 1965! Plus, there's plenty of parking and a lovely patio with tables and umbrellas.

The food and the people here are fantastic. I absolutely love visiting whenever I get the chance. Honestly, I would go out of my way just to dine here. The burgers are huge and delicious, and I’ve never had a bad meal from the menu.

This is a classic neighborhood spot! I always have a wonderful experience whenever I visit, whether it's before or after a trip to the beach. The staff is incredibly friendly, as you can see in the photo. The food is excellent, although the prices are a bit on the higher side. However, the portion sizes are quite generous. I've only tried the cheeseburger and fries so far, but I think I will choose something else next time.

To cap off a wonderful meal, we indulged in milkshakes that were absolutely divine— the perfect ending to an excellent dining experience! In addition to their tasty food, Big M is also famous for hosting car shows, featuring everything from Corvettes and Mustangs to Vintage Classics and Hot Rods. Wow, the burgers at this restaurant are fantastic! They're hearty, with a wide variety of toppings available, and the prices are very fair. The fries were freshly prepared and wonderfully crispy. The service was both friendly and prompt.
